28 weeks

Cheguei ao fim do segundo trimestre. Agora e comecar a contagem decrescente para o grande dia.
Este Sabado estivemos numa aula de preparacao para o parto, no hospital. Aprendemos algumas coisas (respiracao, relaxamento, quando tenho de ir para o hospital, fases do trabalho de parto...). Foi interessante! No final fizemos uma visita as salas de parto, de cesariana, do quarto para onde nos levam depois dela nascer... Foi um dia cansativo mas produtivo.
Eu continuo a sentir-me bem sem grandes mudancas.
A minha barriga mantem-se do mesmo tamanho (33.8 inches = 86 cm) apesar de ter mais dificuldade em dobrar-me e a virar-me na cama.
Ela esta maior e por isso o espaco esta a ficar mais apertado e os pontapes sao mais. Tenho alturas em que sinto os pes e/ou as maos a empurrar-me a barriga. E engracado!
O meu peso tambem se manteve desde a ultima semana (122.2 lb = 55.4 kg) mas esta sexta feira ja vou a mais uma consulta de rotina e vou ficar a saber o meu peso certo.
Esta semana ja recebemos o carrinho e a cadeirinha e o Joel ja montou a comoda da muda das fraldas.

I reached the end of the second trimester. Now we start the countdown until the big day.
Last Saturday we were in the hospital attending a childbirth class. We learned about some issues related to the labor (breathing, relaxation, when we have to go to the hospital, stages of labor...). It was interesting! At the end we visited the labor and c-section rooms, the room to where they'll take us after delivery...it was a tiring day but productive.
I still feel good without any big changes.
My belly remained the same size (33.8 inches) despite I'm having more difficulty to bend over and to turn in bed.
She is bigger, so the space in my belly is starting to be tight and the kicks are more frequent. I have times that I can feel her feet and/or hands pushing my belly. It's funny!
My weight also remained the same as last week (122.2 lb) but this Friday we'll go to the next prenatal visit and we'll know my real weight.
This week we received the travel system for Charlotte and Joel already assembled the changing table.
This Friday, I'll come back with more news about the prenatal visit.
